The sixth tool is for managing layers instead of inserting or erasing. By this tool, users can create a new layer, modify any existing layer . All data in this form is based on AutoCAD data.


User must note that when he/she change anything in first row, another row will be appeared automatically and logically there is no limit to insert rows here.

To use this tool, firstly iDEES tries to open currently installed AutoCAD application in the machine and then start working on layers, so


Do not close the AutoCAD application at all until it's completely finished.

In this filed user must input a Layer name, a new one to create new layer or an old name for existing ones.

If user wants to create a new Layer, this option must be ticked, so user must note to specify not repeated name.

By this option, that layer will be set as current layer in the selected files.

By this option, that layer will be set on(if ticked) or off(if un-ticked) in the selected files.

By this option, that layer will be set as a  freeze layer in the selected files.


  6  

By this option, that layer will be set as a  lock layer in the selected files.

By this drop-down field, user can select the default color of that layer in the selected files.

In this filed user must input a valid Line type for the mentioned layer, to set in the selected files.

By this drop-down field, user can select the default Line Weight of that layer in the selected files.

By this option, that layer will be set as a plot-able layer or not in the selected files.

If user need to delete any row from the list of inserted text, he/she must stay on that text and click this key. Please note that this deletion is done without any confirmation.

By this browse key, user can select multiple AutoCAD files with certain type *.dwg or *.dxf

After all selection and settings, user should use this key to run the program. After successful running of the iDEES, the following message will be shown and then iDEES opens the related folder automatically:
